PAGASA released the latest update about Verbena PH and the areas still under Signal No. 1.
VERBENA PH UPDATE – PAGASA has released the latest update about the tropical depression and the TCWS currently in effect.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest update about the Tropical Depression Verbena. In the 2 AM update, November 25, Verbena has slightly accelerated and is now in the vicinity of Inabanga, Bohol.

At 1 AM, the location of its center was spotted in the vicinity of Inabanga, Bohol. It has maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and a central pressure of 998 hPa.
Presently, it moves west northwestward at 25 km/h.

The Northeast Monsoon and the tropical depression will bring gusty conditions reaching strong to gale-force strength in these areas not under TCWS during these dates:
- Today: Luzon, Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Zamboanga del Norte
- Tomorrow (26 November): Luzon, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Dinagat Islands.
- Thursday (27 November): Batanes, Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, MIMAROPA, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Western Visayas
At 11:10 PM yesterday, it made landfall in Jagna, Bohol, and will move west-northwest across the Visayas and northern Palawan until it exits through the West Philippine Sea by tomorrow morning, November 26.
It will remain as a tropical depression while crossing the Visayas but may strengthen into a tropical storm near northern Palawan or over the West Philippine Sea.
