Ion Perez was able to influence Vice Ganda’s health perspective
It’s Showtime host Ion Perez was in tears during a part of the media launch for his new endorsement together with his partner, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.
Ion couldn’t help but get emotional as Vice spoke about how so many Filipinos have accepted them as a couple. They had been together for seven years now. The couple has received support from their fans, especially from the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Phenomenal Box-office Star is very proud of Ion’s latest endorsement for Belle Dolls of Beautéderm, owned by Ms. Rei Anicoche Tan. During the media conference for this endorsement, the comedian-host said that his partner is really shy. This is the reason why he is happy that Ion gets to experience this.
“Kapag nararamdaman niya yung love ng ibang tao sa kanya at support, it really overwhelms him,” Vice Ganda said.
During the interview, the Vice and Ion was asked how important it is for them as celebrities to take care of themselves and to have a partner who takes care of them.
“Kasi nga, unang-una, bahagi yon ng aming trabaho. Kailangan talagang alagain namin ang sarili namin dahil maraming bahagi ng trabaho namin ang physical, yung kalusugan namin,” Vice said.
He added that Ion Perez served as his “katuwang”, and he learned a lot from his partner. When it comes to his health and his healthcare, Ion, as a sporty and health-conscious individual, has imparted a lot to him.
Then Ion mentioned that Vice said he is not getting any younger, and with this, he should help his partner, in order for them to be together for a longer time.
“Kasi, bilang partner ko siya, siyempre mahal ko siya. Gusto ko siyang makasama nang matagal,” Ion Perez said, adding that he has to lessen Vice Ganda’s bad eating habits and everyday routine. Vice added that it gave him a good feeling knowing that someone was caring for him.
The couple was also asked what their holiday wishes were. Both of them want a peaceful situation for the Philippines. Ion pointed out that this is not just for the present but also for the future of the next generation. Vice said that they aim not for personal wishes anymore but for things bigger than themselves, and it is for everyone.
