In one of the videos he posted on social media, Zaldy Co claimed that Marcos Jr. and Romualdez allegedly received a P56-billion kickback from the projects of the government. His claim came after he accused Marcos Jr. of supposedly ordering a P100 billion budget insertion in the 2025 national fund.

According to Co, he allegedly confirmed the supposed order of Marcos Jr. with then-Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman and then-Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin. Last November 17, Malacañang announced that Pangandaman and Bersamin resigned from their positions.
