This is what Joshua Garcia said about his new film.
‘Meet, Greet & Bye’ has raked in huge earnings already, and one of the stars, Joshua Garcia, has this to say about the film.
Maricel Soriano, Belle Mariano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, and Juan Karlos are the lead stars of ‘Meet, Greet & Bye’ directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana. This latest release from the Star Cinema has sparked a clamor for family drama. On its opening day, the film already earned PHP 10.5 million, and as of November 14, the film earned PHP 33 million at the box office.

This film follows the Facundo family as they confront the return of their matriarch’s cancer. The children find themselves faced with the difficult task of persuading their mother to undergo treatment, despite her firm refusal. Having endured tremendous hardship during her first battle with the disease, she is determined not to relive the pain and challenges of that experience.
Joshua, who’s playing the middle child in the Facundo family, shared how this film is memorable for him. According to him, this is not just another project, as this one is surely something he will treasure.
He has been vocal about how much he loves the film and how much he desires not to lose the family they were able to build. He said this in the vlog of Soriano, and the latter assured him that he would not lose them. For the younger stars, Soriano has really become their mother in real life.
This desire of Garcia roots from the reality that it is difficult to find people he can trust in their industry. Garcia told Soriano, “Hindi ba sa show business mahirap maghanap nang pagkakatiwalaan mo and ‘yon ang ibinigay niyo sa akin. Huwag ka na iiyak, Ma.”
He added that this is the first time he has become this close to the people he has worked with. Garcia said, “Kasi usually after noong work tapos na, magkakanya-kanya ka kayo ng buhay. Pero ito continuous ‘yung update namin sa isa’t isa.”
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Films marks a strong start as its latest project, “Meet, Greet & Bye,” achieves a global gross of P120 million as of November 17.
