2 Construction Worker Brothers Lost Their Lives During Heated Confrontation w/ Five Co-Workers
Two construction worker brothers were killed after being attacked and stabbed by five co-workers during heated confrontation.
On Monday afternoon, November 17, 2025, two construction workers were killed, while another companion was left injured after they were attacked and stabbed by five co-workers. The incident inside a subdivision in Sto. Tomas, Batangas where all of them were working and staying.
The victims were identified only as Edwin and Leo, both residents of Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Their injured companion, Eduardo, 32, from Calamba City, Laguna, was rushed for medical treatment and survived the attack.

According to police reports, the victims were having a drinking session inside Amorosa Subdivision around 5:40 p.m. when the suspects passed by.
The suspects were identified by their aliases as Ruel, 25, from Matuguinao, Samar; Michael, 33, from Las Navas, Samar; and three others known as Jayson, Garry, and Jericho, all stay-in workers at the same subdivision.
The confrontation started when the suspects questioned the brothers about their work. The verbal argument quickly leads into a fistfight. The situation worsened when the five suspects allegedly ganged up on the victims, taking out bladed weapons and stabbing them multiple times.

Edwin and Leo were declared dead on the spot due to severe injuries, while Eduardo was found wounded but alive. After realizing the gravity of what had happened and seeing the three victims bleeding on the ground, the suspects immediately fled the area.
Neighbors and co-workers were shocked by the incident, as the men were all working and living in the same project. Police are now conducting follow-up operations to locate and arrest the suspects, who remain at large as of this writing.
Authorities reminded workers and residents in the area to resolve disputes peacefully and avoid letting alcohol-fueled arguments turn into deadly violence.
