Woman Arrested for Spreading Husband’s Explicit Videos w/ Alleged Mistress
A 32-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly spread intimate videos and photos of her husband and his supposed mistress online.
The arrest happened during a Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operation of the Marikina City Police on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
According to Marikina police officer-in-charge Police Colonel Jenny Tecson, the issue began back in January 2021 when the woman started suspecting her husband of having an affair. Her doubts grew stronger when she reportedly saw explicit photos and videos on her husband’s phone involving him and another woman.

Overwhelmed by anger and hurt, she decided to upload the files on social media and even sent them to the relatives of the people involved.
“Pag share niya ng mga photos and video na nakuha niya mismo, kinopya niya mismo sa cellphone ng kanyang asawa. Shinare niya sa social media platforms, binigay niya sa mismong relative o parents nung biktima,” Tecson said.
The suspect was later found along Scout Lozano Street in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City. For a long time, authorities struggled to locate her, and she was even listed among the top ten most wanted individuals in Marikina.
Police shared that they were finally able to track her down after receiving information that she would be attending an event near a café in the area.
When officers approached her, she cooperated calmly. She listened as her rights were read and went with the authorities without resistance. According to police, she expressed that she had been waiting for the right moment to surrender, saying she wanted peace of mind and had learned a painful lesson from the experience.
The police also shared that the woman and her husband have since fixed their relationship. They have two young children, a six-year-old and an eight-month-old baby.
Authorities reminded the public to think carefully before sharing any personal information online. Posting or distributing someone’s private content without permission is against the law. The woman remains in custody and faces charges under the Safe Spaces Act and the Cybercrime Prevention Act, with recommended bail set at P210,000.
The social media users expressed their reactions to the incident:
