Lady Passenger to Jeepney Driver Who Charges Them Twice “ALAM MO SA SARILI MO YUNG TOTOO“
A lady passenger became upset with a jeepney driver who asked them to pay again despite already paying their fare.
Recently, Irish Mae Espenido, a Facebook user, shared photos of the jeepney they rode, saying the driver charged them again and spoke to them harshly even though they had already paid. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions online.
According to her story, she and her companions had just finished work and were enjoying a light conversation inside the jeepney. They had already paid their fares, but the driver suddenly interrupted them and claimed he never received their payment.
Espenido said the driver even questioned them loudly and insisted that they were lying, making the situation uncomfortable for everyone on board.
Irish wrote that the driver became more aggressive as he kept counting his money and insisting that the amount was short. She shared that she almost gave another payment just to end the scene, but fear held her back as they were seated at the front and worried about what could happen next.
The lady passenger felt uneasy and shaken, especially after the driver hinted he could force all passengers to get off if he wanted to.
The woman also mentioned feeling embarrassed after being talked down to, especially since other passengers witnessed the incident but chose to stay silent. The driver continued ranting about how his collection for the day was low and blamed passengers for it.
Irish ended up getting off earlier than planned because she no longer felt safe. She shared her disappointment, saying that passengers deserve respect even when misunderstandings happen.
