Oil Price Hike Expected on Tuesday (November 11, 2025)

Gas Stations to Impose Oil Price Hike as Typhoon Uwan Affects the Country

FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Several gasoline stations in the country are set to implement another oil price hike this week.

Filipino motorists will have to brace for higher fuel costs once again as oil companies announced another round of price increases effective Tuesday, November 11. The adjustments come as Typhoon Uwan continues to bring heavy rains and disruptions across many parts of the Philippines.

Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, and Cleanfuel confirmed that they will raise pump prices by P1.00 per liter for diesel and P0.50 per liter for gasoline. Companies that sell kerosene, such as Shell and Seaoil, will also implement a P0.90 per liter increase. Most companies will apply for the new prices starting at 6 a.m., while Cleanfuel will follow at 4:01 p.m.

Oil Price Hike

The looming price adjustments marks the sixth straight week of gasoline price hikes and the third consecutive increase for diesel, adding to the growing expenses faced by commuters and transport operators.

Despite the rough weather, energy officials assured that fuel supply remains stable, with teams keeping a close watch on distribution and safety amid the storm.

The Department of Energy (DOE) explained that the continuous price hikes are mainly due to developments in the global oil market. Rising crude prices have been driven by ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, recent disruptions in supply routes, and production adjustments among major oil-exporting nations.

Oil Price Hike

Just last week, gasoline prices went up by P1.70 per liter, diesel by P2.70, and kerosene by P2.10. Since the start of the year, total price increases have reached P16.50 per liter for gasoline, P19.15 for diesel, and P6.55 for kerosene.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their trips wisely and manage their fuel consumption as global factors continue to push prices higher.
