In an update, Campuestohan Highland Resort shares the miserable aftermath of Typhoon Tino.
CAMPUESTUHAN HIGHLAND RESORT – The famous theme park’s mighty and life-sized statues collapsed due to Typhoon Tino.
The adventures, thrills, and Jurassic feels that once surrounded the Campuestohan Highland Resort in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, were now gone. The popular mountain resort is located along the mountain slopes, suffered widespread damage caused by Typhoon Tino.
“Even the Mighty King Kong Bowed to Typhoon Tino,” said the update from the resort’s official page.
Based on the photos shared, the once-majestic King Kong figure sitting on the edge overlooking the stunning mountain view now lies in ruins after the onslaught of Typhoon Tino. The storm’s intensity also left severe damage to the theme park, even severing the head of its life-sized male dinosaur attraction.
According to the post, apart from the typhoon, a powerful twister or buhawi also occurred, which caused more damage to the resort. Fortunately, despite these, the staff and guests were safe, and no one was harmed.
The theme park promised to rebuild everything – better and bigger – sticking to their promise to bring more fun, more excitement, and another world record.
The post promised, “If not for the twister of Typhoon Tino that brought King Kong down, a new world record could have been ours before the end of 2025. We will start from scratch and build then World’s Biggest and Tallest Gorilla Structure.”
