Amid the Flood Control Mess in PH, Harry Roque Claims Marcos Jr. Allegedly Corrupted Trillions of Money
HARRY ROQUE – Duterte’s former Spox gave a message for Kiko Aquino Dy, the grandson of the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino, over President Bongbong Marcos.
Undeniably, there are calls for Marcos Jr. to resign from the presidency amid the flood control mess in the Philippines. Several officials of the government including his cousin, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, were tagged in the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption.
Amid the flood control issue, Pres. Bongbong Marcos ordered the creation of an independent commission that will be tasked to investigate the infrastructure projects funded by the government. The order of the President paved the way for the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI to be formed.
According to Marcos Jr., not even Romualdez and his allies in the political arena will be spared from the flood control issue. Malacañang also stressed several times that the President will not intervene in the investigation.

Recently, the Akbayan and the Tindig Pilipinas filed a petition urging the Ombudsman to look into the complaints over the alleged misuse of the confidential funds of the offices led by Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. The Vice President remains questioned about the spending of the P625 million confidential funds of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
Tindig Pilipinas is led by Kiko Aquino Dee, the grandson of the late former Sen. Ninoy Aquino and former Pres. Cory Aquino. Following the petition calling on the Ombudsman to look into the complaints against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Harry Roque expressed a message for the grandson of the icons of democracy.
In his message for Kiko Aquino Dee, Harry Roque asked the grandson of Ninoy why he will allow Pres. Bongbong Marcos to continue in the top post amid the alleged visible corruption in the country. According to him, Marcos Jr., Romualdez, and Zaldy Co have allegedly corrupted trillions already.
“Bakit ka papayag na magpatuloy si Marcos sa pwesto ngayong alam mo talagang lantaran ang korapsyon? Ano ka ba bulag at bingi, Kiko? Hindi mo ba alam na trilyones na ang ninakaw sa kaban ng bayan ni Marcos Jr., ni Tambaloslos, ni Zaldy Co?” Roque said.
In his post, Harry Roque urged Kiko Aquino Dee to wake up in the reality. The former Presidential Spokesman is currently in The Hague, Netherlands where he is an asylum seeker amid a pending arrest warrant issued by a Philippine court.
