Actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared what she learned from the relationship of her parents, showbiz veterans Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez.
Ruffa is one of the showbiz nepo babies, but she was able to stand outside the shadow of her parents. She became an actress and beauty queen, and continued doing her showbiz stints.
Ruffa and her siblings are known for having a close bond with each other and with their parents. In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared throwback photos and videos of her parents.
In the caption of her post, Ruffa Gutierrez shared that she called her mom, but the answer she got from Annabelle was “Mamaya na, Ruffita. Inaasikaso ko pa si Daddy mo.” Then, Annabelle hung up.
Ruffa shared that her mom has been very attentive to her dad since he hasn’t been feeling well. She said that Annabelle has been pouring her time and energy into taking care of Eddie.
“Seeing them still in love after 52 years together makes me believe that forever really does exist,” the actress said. Then, she shared what he realized upon watching her parents.
Ruffa said that she is thankful to be able to spend time with her parents, and she was speaking on behalf of her siblings. The actress stressed that “Family is everything.”
The second important thing she realized was that through ups and downs, the heartbreaks she experienced, the lessons she learned, and the moments when she had to stand strong alone, she was holding on to her dream of having a beautiful family.
Ruffa Gutierrez stressed that she deserves this. “And I’m worth it,” she added.
