Female Passenger Slams Man’s Indecent Act Inside Jeepney
A female passenger was left scared and alarmed after a man performed an indecent act in front of her inside a public jeepney.
Recently, a Facebook user named すみれ リョルカ shared the experience of her niece, who was harassed while riding a traditional jeepney in Bacolod City. The post quickly went viral and gained various reactions from the online community.
According to her niece was on her way to work aboard a Bata–Libertad jeepney when she noticed a man sitting across from her acting suspiciously. Moments later, the man began performing an indecent act in public, leaving the young woman shocked and terrified.
Many expressed anger and disgust over the man’s behavior, while others showed sympathy and support for the victim.
The post also mentioned that the same man reportedly did the same act to other passengers riding a Banago-bound jeep earlier that day. The victim’s family said they plan to file a police report to ensure that the suspect is identified and held accountable.
Concerned residents of Bacolod are now urging authorities to take immediate action, as similar harassment cases in public transportation have been reported frequently.
Some citizens called for stricter monitoring, better lighting in jeepney terminals, and increased police presence to protect commuters, especially women.
