Actress Carmina Villarroel was asked about Ashley Ortega, her son, Mavy Legaspi’s girlfriend. This is what she said.
In February of this year, Ashley Ortega confirmed her relationship with Mavy Legaspi. This was after some sweet and cozy photos and videos of them together in Cebu circulated on social media.
They started going out after the actor’s breakup with his ex-girlfriend, actress Kyline Alcantara, and they became closer as they belong to the same circle of friends. As a “manliligaw,” Mavy was accordingly thoughtful and generous.
In a recent interview, veteran actress Carmina Villarroel was asked about her son Mavy’s girlfriend. Carmina shared that she fully approves of the young actress and is happy for her son’s relationship.
Ashley had accordingly worked with her already, and with Zoren Legaspi, and they have nothing but good words about her. She even said, “I love Ash. Naka-work ko na siya before and okay ako sa kanya. Kaya nang dinala siya ni Mavy sa amin, ‘Oh, hi!’ Siyempre, magkakilala na.”
Carmina added, “Gayundin, nagkatrabaho sila ni Zoren. Walang problema. At lagi kong sinasabi, si Ashley is very respectful. She’s so much of a sweet lady.”
They are more supportive now of Mavy’s relationship. His past relationship with Alcantara was surrounded by issues and controversies, due to shady posts publicized on their social media page.
In a previous article, Ashley talked about her relationship with Mavy, and despite being younger, he has this maturity and consistency that she appreciated a lot. He was never someone she imagined ending up with, as she used to date older men. She fell in love with him when she least expected it, and in a way she never saw coming.
