Senator Robin Padilla caught the attention of the online community because of this post of a woman claiming to be his ex-wife.
It is known to many showbiz fans that the actor-turned-politician was married to former actress Liezl Sicangco. They had four children, and one of them is Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla.
Based on records, Robin and Liezl had divorced in 2007. They got married in 1996. Then, in 2010, the Senator married his wife, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.
Robin Padilla now has two kids with his current wife. In a recent Facebook post, he shared an appreciation post for Mariel Padilla for spending time with his mother, former actress Eva Carino, who is now suffering from dementia.
The actor-turned-politician even commended his wife for her hard work as she was still doing a live selling session on a Sunday.
However, a recent post on Reddit claimed that aside from Liezl and Mariel, Robin had another wife before. A certain Hayakawa Laderas Rikki BhabyLyn on Facebook posted on the JapanYuki page that she was Robin’s wife.
Based on her replies to netizens who asked about the details of her past relationship with the Senator, she and Robin got married in Japan. She also claimed that they got married in the same year that the Senator got married to Liezl Sicangco. Allegedly, the wedding happened in a Muslim mosque in Japan. The netizen also shared some photos showing that they had a daughter.
Then, the woman shared that she and Robin separated because she returned to her former religion. A netizen also shared a photo of the woman claiming to be Robin Padilla’s ex-wife with his mother, Eva Carino.
As of this writing, the Senator has not spoken yet about this claim from the woman.
