Kakai Bautista shared the Emergency Go Bag distributed by Mayor Vico Sotto
Comedienne-singer Kakai Bautista reacted to the Emergency Go Bag that the Pasig City local government unit, headed by Mayor Vico Sotto, distributed to his constituents.
The Pasig LGU has been receiving praise for the good changes that have happened. Mayor Vicoi’s popularity extended to many corners of the country because of his good governance.
Residents of Pasig City have been sharing the benefits and services that they can freely avail. Some netizens who were not even residents of the city could avail certain services for free.
Celebrities who have been politically aware also shared their thoughts on how Mayor Vico would lead the city.
In a recent Facebook post, Kakai Bautista shared a reel from the page called Teacher Girl. The video was about the distribution of the Emergency Go Bag that Mayor Vico had last February.
This resurfaced online because of the recent series of earthquakes that occurred in different places in the country. The reel explained the things that can be used during an emergency situation. This was given to every family in Pasig.
Kakai shared this video. In the caption of her post, she said, “Nakakaingget ang PASIG.” Then, she asked why only Mayor Vico thought about this.
“Sa edad kong 47, meron bang ni isang Pultiko bukod kay Vico ang nakaisip na magbigay ng emergency go bag sa bawat pilipino na nasasakupan nila?” the comedienne-singer shared.
Then, Kakai Bautista challenged the politicians who are “magaling” to release budgets for this. “SIGE NGA, ngayon kayo magMagaling. Maglabas kayo ng pondo para dito. MAGBIGAY din kayo ng LIBRENG GO BAG sa lahat ng PAMILYANG PILIPINO. yung pangBAHA at pangLINDOL,” she said.
In the comment section of her post, some netizens shared that in their cities, their LGU also distributed Emergency Go bags; however, some said that they haven’t received one.
