Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Speaks on Sen. Imee Marcos
HARRY ROQUE – The former Spokesman of former President Rodrigo Duterte reacted to Senator Imee Marcos still not calling for her brother’s resignation.
Amid an arrest warrant released by a Philippine court against him, Roque remains in The Netherlands where he is an asylum seeker. Duterte’s former Spokesman hid from the public sight amid his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.

Roque applied for an asylum to The Netherlands. Thus, the Philippine authorities previously explained that he cannot be arrested right away despite the warrant of arrest issued against him. He is usually present in the events outside the International Criminal Court’s detention facility in The Hague.
Duterte’s former Spokesman previously claimed that he will only return to the Philippines on the first day after the presidential term of Pres. Bongbong Marcos ends. Amid his pending arrest warrant issued by a Philippine court, Harry Roque even previously challenged the Philippine government to get him.

Recently, Harry Roque reacted to the supposed impeachment complaint of Cavite Representative Kiko Barzaga against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. The 27-year-old solon accused the President of alleged betrayal of public trust amid the flood control issue in the country now.

Based on a post on his social media account, Harry Roque stressed that many Filipinos are allegedly calling for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos already except for his family — particularly Sen. Imee Marcos. According to him, while the presidential Sister has allegedly become braver now, she is still not calling for the resignation of her brother.
“Marami sa atin ang humihingi na ng “Marcos Resign” pero pansin ninyo po ha, ang hindi humihingi ng “Marcos Resign” eh mga kapamilya mismo ni Bongbong Marcos. Bagama’t nagiging matapang na si Manang Imee, hindi pa rin niya sinasabing, ‘Mag-resign ka na, Ading, at ikaw ay magpahinga na,” Duterte’s former Spox said.

According to Harry Roque, it is allegedly still Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ fault if the claim of Sen. Imee Marcos that the Philippine government now is not ran by a Marcos is true. The Senator previously claimed that the government now is allegedly ran by an Araneta and a Romualdez — seemingly referring to her sister-in-law, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and their cousin, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“Pero sinasabi niya talaga na wala na raw, hindi na raw namumuno ang mga Marcos kundi ang mga Romualdez at mga Araneta pero sinong may kasalanan diyan kundi ‘yung kapatid niya mismo na dahilan nga para siya ay magbitiw na dahil iyan ay betrayal of public trust,” he said based on the post.
Previously, Harry Roque called for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos to let Vice Pres. Sara Duterte take over the presidency.
