Here’s the teaser of “Call Me Mother,” an upcoming film starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre.
Multi-awarded celebrities Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre are working together in “Call Me Mother,” and here’s the official teaser.
Becoming a mother doesn’t happen overnight, and in becoming one, it doesn’t necessarily mean the child has to come from you. With love, anything is possible, regardless of gender, age, and other factors.
And this heartwarming story from Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre is a reminder for us of the real essence of motherhood. In the teaser shared, the short clip was enough to warm hearts.
The official teaser for the upcoming 51st Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Call Me Mother” was dropped. It consisted of chaos, emotion, and, of course, the slapstick comedy of the 73rd FAMAS Best Actor and Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-Office Superstar, with the 3-time FAMAS Award winner and Multimedia Superstar.
Directed by Jun Robles Lana and written by Daisy G. Cayanan, Daniel S. Saniana, and Lana himself, the film is co-produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc., The IdeaFirst Company, and Viva Communications Inc.
The story revolves around Twinkle, played by Vice, a single queer mother who dreams of legally adopting her son. However, her plans are disrupted when the boy’s biological mother, portrayed by Nadine, suddenly returns and refuses to cooperate with the legal process.
In the background Twinkle was heard saying: “Laging tinatanong: paano ginagawa ang mga anak?”
This was then followed by Nadine’s voice, whose character expressed, “Iniisip ko lang kung nasa mabuting kalagayan ba s’ya ngayon? Baby pa lang s’ya noong huli ko s’yang nakita.”
