Cavite Rep. Jolo Revilla Willing to Work with Pres. Marcos To Fulfill Societal Goals
JOLO REVILLA – The Cavite 1st District Representative believes that the Filipinos’ lives will continuously improve under Marcos Jr.’s lead.
Several gigantic national issues are on the surface in the Philippines now. One of them is the supposedly multi-billion corruption through the government flood control deals. Several officials of the government including senators and members of the House of Representatives are accused of involvement in the flood control corruption.

Both the Senate and the House of Representatives had a change of leadership amid the flood control scam in the Philippines. After he admitted to receiving a P30-million campaign donation from a contractor which earned him criticisms and accusations, Sen. Chiz Escudero is also accused of allegedly receiving a P160-million kickback from the flood control projects.
The accusation against Escudero was made by a former undersecretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Roberto Bernardo, during a Senate flood probe. It was prior to the ouster of Escudero as Senate president and he was replaced with now-Senate Pres. Tito Sotto.

Presidential cousin and Leyte Cong. Martin Romualdez also resigned from being the House speaker after his name was tagged in the flood control mess. According to him, he wants to allow the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI to fully implement their mandate to investigate.

The ICI is an independent body that Pres. Bongbong Marcos ordered to be created to investigate the supposed multi-billion flood control scam. Previously, amid the problems of the country now, Marcos Jr. claimed that he has no regrets in being president of the country. He called the presidency the “greatest privilege”.

According to the President, he wants his term to be remembered by the Filipinos for doing changes for the better. He is now halfway of his term. Recently, Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla spoke on Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
Revilla is one of the children of former Sen. Bong Revilla and 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado. His brother, Ram Revilla, is Vice Governor of the Cavite Province.

Recently, based on a post on social media, Cavite Rep. Jolo Revilla expressed his belief that the lives of the Filipino people will continuously improve under the lead of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to him, he is hopeful that the Marcos administration will continue to strengthen the programs for affordable food, higher salary, and better health services.
“Sa pamumuno ni Pangulong Marcos, naniniwala akong tuloy-tuloy ang pag-angat ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Umaasa po tayo na lalo pang paiigtingin ng administrasyon ang mga programa para sa abot-kayang pagkain, mas mataas na sahod, at mas maayos na serbisyong pangkalusugan,” he said.
Cavite Rep. Jolo Revilla also said that he is willing to work with Marcos Jr. as the representative of Cavite. Based on the post, he shared his message for the President.
“Bilang kinatawan ng unang distrito ng Cavite, handa po akong makipagtulungan sa ating Pangulo upang maisakatuparan ang mga adhikain para sa mas maunlad, mas ligtas, at mas makatarungang lipunan,” the Cavite Representative said.
The father of Rep. Jolo Revilla is one of those accused in the flood control scam. Former Sen. Bongbong Revilla denied his involvement but photos of him with the Discayas circulated online.
