Bong Revilla had an encounter with Discayas
The old photo of actor-politician Bong Revilla with contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya resurfaced online.
Revilla was named as one of the alleged politicians who received kickbacks from the anomalous flood control projects. Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan district engineer Henry Alcantara accused the actor-politician of receiving money illegally, which was supposed to be for a flood control project in Bulacan.
Following those allegations against Revilla, his photos visiting the flood control project in Bulacan in 2023 with Alcantara.
Bong Revilla addressed the allegations against him. He denied that he was involved in the anomalous flood control projects and stressed that he had nothing to do with it. To recall, this was not the first time Revilla’s name had been dragged into the corruption issue.
After Revilla’s denial, his photo with Sarah and Curlee Discaya resurfaced online, based on the report from Rappler. It can be seen that the photo was taken inside the Senate building with the Senate logo in the background.
It was also noted that Sarah and Curlee had the visitor tags on their clothes. Based on the source, the photo was taken in 2023 at Revilla’s office when he was still a Senator. At that time, he was the head of the Senate committee on public works in the 19th Congress.
The actor-politician ran for Senator in the 2025 elections, but he was not able to secure a seat. To recall, in May, the actor-politician blamed social media posts for his defeat. There have been negative posts against Revilla during the campaign period, and for him, this affected the people’s perception.
“Kailangan siguro mag-file talaga ng case against those people na dapat managot dito. Dahil hindi naman natin pupuwedeng lokohin ang taongbayan,” Bong Revilla said.
