Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga claimed that there was a certain Senator who was allegedly plotting to end his life.
Barzaga has been controversial these past weeks amid the issue of anomalous flood control projects. It was because of his controversial statements.
One of the recent controversial statements he made was when he urged the troops to protest against the government. Because of this, the Philippine Army moved to delist the congressman.
Rep. Kiko Barzaga also had a controversial post just recently. It was an old photo of Sen. Ping Lacson with contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya. With this, the congressman said that the Senator should be investigated.
Lacson is heading the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee that is investigating the anomalies in flood control projects. The Senator explained that it was the first and the last encounter he had with the Discaya couple prior to the Senate hearing. The Discaya couple is being linked to the anomalous flood control projects.
Lacson also explained that he had a meeting with the son of the Discaya couple, who was running for party-list representative in the May 2025 elections. It was said that the couple had just arrived.
Following that post, which Cong. Kiko Barzaga shared, he had an intriguing claim. “My intelligence network has informed me that a certain Senator is plotting to end my life,” the congressman wrote in his Facebook post.
In the comment section of his post, Barzaga said that he said, “I am 9 lives posa.” Some netizens who commented on this joined his humorous remark, while some said that he should take care.
