Richard Gutierrez shared his political views
Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez had this statement about the recent corruption in the Philippines.
Many celebrities have been very vocal about the issues being discussed in the government. Anomalies in flood control projects have been exposed.
Not just celebrities and prominent people in society, but also many Filipinos slammed the corruption, as well as the politician who is allegedly involved in this.
In a recent family conversation, Richard Gutierrez also shared a piece of his mind regarding this matter. Based on the article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin, a birthday lunch of Richard’s niece, Aria Gutierrez, was held just recently.
Richard’s twin brother Mond and his parents, veteran showbiz personality Annabelle Rama and veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez ,were also there, and their topic was about politics and corruption.
Lalin said that the Gutierrez family is also updated about the Senate inquiry into anomalous flood control projects. The entertainment writer shared that they wanted to watch the Senate hearing.
Then, Richard shared a striking opinion about the corruption issue in the Philippines. He posted a statement from his favorite singer, Bob Marley, “You will never find justice in a world where criminals make the rules.”
Meanwhile, Richard took a break from filming the horror film Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, which is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025. It is because his leading lady in the film, Ivana Alawi, is still abroad.
On the other hand, the Kapamilya actor shared that their shooting pace. They already had 7 days of shooting. Right after Ivana’s return to the Philippines, they are set to resume filming right away.
Aside from the suspense from the horror movie, it will also feature some action scenes. Previously, Richard Gutierrez said that he was super excited to work with Ivana Alawi. This is their first project together.
