Ramon Tulfo Under Fire For Branding DDS Bobo While Slamming VP Sara Duterte
RAMON TULFO – A political storm erupted after Ramon Tulfo called DDS bobo while criticizing VP Sara Duterte.
A heated political controversy has erupted after veteran broadcast journalist Ramon Tulfo openly criticized Vice President Sara Duterte, with his remarks sparking strong reactions online.
The issue stemmed from allegations raised by Ramil Madriaga, who claimed to be a former “bagman” and aide of the vice president. During a recent hearing conducted by the House Committee on Justice on Tuesday, April 14, Madriaga presented statements about Duterte’s past while she was studying law.

According to him, a former professor of Duterte, Ryan Rey Quilala, allegedly described her as academically weak and reportedly prone to violent behavior toward fellow students. Madriaga shared, “I got close with Atty. Ryan who was previously a professor of Sara and former Associate Dean of SSC-Law. He shared with me that Sara was not particularly good in school, was often struggling with her academics, and habitually rude and violent to other students,” Madriaga revealed.
Following these claims, Tulfo took to social media to express his own criticism of the vice president. He questioned her communication skills, particularly in English, writing, “Narinig mo siyang magsalita ng English o sumagot sa mga interview?
“Pero bale wala yan sa masa at DDS dahil bobo din naman sila,” he said.
Tulfo went even further, making a controversial remark about the country’s leadership if Duterte were to win the presidency in 2028. He stated, “Kapag nahalal si Sara bilang presidente, tatlo na ang bobo na naging pangulo: Erap, Digong at Sara,” he even said, referring to former presidents Joseph Estrada and Rodrigo Duterte..

The statements quickly gained attention, drawing mixed reactions from the public, particularly supporters of Duterte. Critics also pointed out the harsh tone of Tulfo’s remarks, especially his comments directed at the masses and Duterte’s supporters.
As of writing, Vice President Duterte has yet to issue an official response regarding both the allegations raised during the hearing and Tulfo’s statements. Observers are also awaiting possible reactions from Estrada and Rodrigo Duterte, who were mentioned in the journalist’s remarks.
The controversy continues to unfold, highlighting tensions in the country’s political landscape as discussions surrounding leadership and public accountability intensify.
