Celebrities Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto have ended their relationship. This was confirmed by their respective talent agencies, which ultimately put the speculations about the couple’s status to rest.
Viva Artists Agency also clarified that the rumored reasons for the breakup of Julia and Gerald circulating in recent weeks were “unfounded and baseless,” and both agencies have confirmed that their split was a mutual decision.
“We emphasize that only information coming directly from Julia or Gerald should be regarded as accurate, as they are the primary parties involved,” it said. In a previous article, Gerald admitted he was at fault in the split, and that there was no third party that caused their separation.
However, just recently, talks about a rekindled romance surfaced after Ogie Diaz claimed that the former couple were spotted at the wake of Mito Barretto, the uncle of the actress.
As per the grapevine, they went in together and also left the place together.
Diaz shared, “Nagkabalikan na nga ba sina Julia Barretto at Gerald Anderson? Kahapon daw sa wake ni Mito Barretto, magkasama raw dumating ang dalawa ng mga 7pm, tapos after midnight eh sabay ding umalis. True ba?”
Diaz added that if this is true, it at least shows that they still love each other. Otherwise, they remain friends — but the truth will ultimately come from them.
Meanwhile, the actress is rumored to be dating businessman and RCGI CEO Lucas Lorenzo, the brother-in-law of both actress Erich Gonzales and Julia’s sister Claudia Barretto. However, this rumor was taken back, clarifying that the two are not dating and have no romantic relationship.
