Elias is Ellen’s son with actor John Lloyd Cruz, while Derek and Ellen welcomed their daughter, Lili, in October 2024. At the time of her birth, Derek expressed his happiness, saying, “My world keeps getting better and better!”
The couple tied the knot in November 2021 in Bataan. Earlier this year, Ellen revealed in an interview with Karen Davila what made her sure about marrying Derek after only three months of dating. “I can’t really answer that because it just felt like, ‘Yeah, this is the one. No questions, no doubts,'” she shared.
