Vice Ganda had this view about the corruption issue in the Philippines
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda shared a post about corrupt politicians amid the recent fiasco in government projects.
Following the heavy rains in July, resulting in widespread flooding, the government’s flood control projects were questioned. Eventually, suspicious and unjustifiable projects were revealed, like the flood control project in Bulacan, in which no structure was built, as the documents claimed.
This snowballed to the exposition of some individuals being linked to the anomalous projects, including the wealthy couple Sarah and Curlee Discaya, who mentioned certain politicians during the Senate hearing, who were allegedly connected to the anomalies in flood control projects.

Amid the corruption issue, Vice Ganda shared this timely post on his Instagram Story. “When corrupt politicians start going to jail, then, we can start trusting the government again,” the quote stated.

Vice is known for being vocal about certain issues in the government. In a recent episode of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime, the comedian-host said that there should be a “tax holiday” because corrupt politicians took the money, and with this, taxpayers should have a rest in paying their taxes.
Just recently, prominent director Lav Diaz expressed his political vision for the comedian-host. The director wanted the comedian to run for president in the 2028 elections, as the opponent of Vice President Sara Duterte, if ever she runs for the highest position in the Philippine government.

For the award-winning director, Vice can be VP Sara’s strong opponent. However, in past interviews, the comedian-host was vocal about his choice not to enter politics, despite some offers.
Following that statement from Direk Lav, director Darryl Yap also shared his thoughts. The controversial director nominated celebrity BB Gandanghari, formerly known as Rustom Padilla, will be Vice Ganda’s opponent.
