Kitty Duterte Asserts their Conscience is Clean amid the Issues
KITTY DUTERTE – The daughter of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte answered some questions of Filipinos outside the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention center.
Amid the political turmoil in the Philippine government which was undeniably triggered by the arrest and the transfer of custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court, the former Chief Executive remains under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands.

Former Pres. Duterte is accused of a crime against humanity over the war on drugs of his administration. The said prominent campaign of the previous admin is linked to several deaths. According to ICC, more ‘victims’ registered as they want to participate in the ICC case versus Duterte.
However, the confirmation of charges of the former President which was initially set on September 23 is postponed. Reportedly, the former Chief Executive is unfit to stand to trial.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is detained under the custody of the ICC in The Hague for around six (6) months now. Recently, all four (4) Duterte siblings were able to visit former Pres. Duterte altogether inside the ICC detention facility. It was the first time.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that it was really the former President who requested for them to visit him inside the ICC detention center together. Currently, Davao 1st District Congressman Paolo Duterte and acting Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte are already back in the Philippines.
It was Kitty Duterte, the youngest among the Duterte siblings, who was spotted recently visiting former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Recently, she answered some questions of the Filipinos outside the ICC detention center.

Based on a post on the Facebook page Alvin & Tourism, Kitty Duterte was asked about her side on their family’s name allegedly being dragged in any issues in the Philippines. According to the youngest daughter of the former President, it is something that they are ready for.
“They can keep trying. Malinis ang konsiyensa ganun talaga ‘yan. Problema ng North, Duterte ‘yung dadalhin na pangalan. Yeah, it’s something we were prepared for I guess for our name to be dragged wherever and whatever issue,” Kitty said.
Moreover, based on the post, Kitty Duterte also claimed that for her, the best that they can do is to “hope for the best and prepare for the worst”. Previously, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte confirmed that she is set to visit Japan before her dad Rodrigo’s ICC hearing.
