Vicky Morales Asks Marcos Jr. If He Regretted Being President Citing Country’s Problems

MARCOS JR. – The President stressed that he does not regret “not for one moment” being in the presidency despite the problems of the Philippines.

The President personally visited the area and arrived at the place and saw no Riverwall. Even the construction has not started. What makes the matter worse is that the receipts show that the project is been paid in full already and was marked completed.

Also in Bulacan, Marcos Jr. was left disappointed by the “incomplete” and substandard flood control projects funded by the government. He called out the contractor of the said project, the St. Timothy Construction, to explain the matter.

Marcos Jr. stressed that the Philippines has spent over P500-billion already for the government flood control projects from July 2022 to May 2025. Calling it an “enormous” amount, the President flagged 15 contractors for getting around P100 billion of the total spending of the government on flood control deals.

The St. Timothy Construction called out by the President over the incomplete and substandard flood control projects in Bulacan is one of the 15 contractors he flagged during a press conference. According to him, here are the 15 contractors that got around 18% of the total flood control deals funded by the government since the start of his term until May 2025:

  1. Legacy Construction Corporation

According to Marcos Jr., by being the chief executive of the country, he is given the opportunity to do something about all the things that he has complained about all his life. During the podcast interview, he even called the presidency “the greatest privilege”.

“I am given the opportunity to actually—the privilege, the opportunity, and the chance to actually do something. All of the things that I complained about all my life, now I can do something about it. And that is the greatest privilege that anyone can be granted, so no, I don’t regret it,” he expressed.
