Man Suddenly Stabbed by Woman Sitting Next to Him in Antipolo
A man is now in critical condition after being stabbed in the chest by a woman who sat next to him in Antipolo City.
The incident left residents alarmed, as the suspect was reportedly involved in similar cases in the past.
According to Barangay San Isidro records, the woman has a history of stabbing incidents. She was previously linked to three separate cases.
In the first case, her male victim was left in critical condition and sadly passed away a week later. The second incident reportedly happened near a church in Antipolo, while the third involved a policeman who was stabbed at a police station.
Barangay officials also shared that the woman has documented mental health issues, which may have contributed to her behavior.
“Napadayo lang siya roon, nagpaalam pa roon sa pinsan na bantay ng tindahan na makikiupo lang. ‘Yung pinsan niyang nakaupo naman doon, kakakain lang, tumambay, nagyosi. Bigla na lang pong sinaksak eh,” Barangay San Isidro tanod ose Sogie Mabini said.
Following the latest attack, the suspect was immediately arrested and is now detained at the Antipolo Police custodial facility. She will face charges of frustrated homicide.
Residents in the area expressed fear and concern, especially since the suspect has had multiple violent incidents in the past. They called for stricter monitoring of individuals with a history of violence to prevent similar attacks from happening again.
Authorities assured the public that an investigation is ongoing and that the victim is receiving medical attention. The case also raised discussions about the need for better mental health interventions and community awareness to address situations involving individuals with mental health conditions before they escalate to violence.
“Bale nakatatlong insidenteng pananaksak na po siya, bago po itong bago. ‘Yung una po is ‘yung lalaki po na sinaksak niya is, nag 50-50 po ‘yun. Tapos after one week, namatay din po ‘yung biktima. Tapos po ‘yung pangalawa, siya rin po ‘yung nananaksak po sa may Antipolo Simbahan. Tapos ‘yung pangatlo po, is police station po ‘yun na may sinaksak din po siyang pulis. Records din na may mental health disorder po siya,” Barangay San Isidro tanod Kristyle Anne Cruz said.
