Bretman Rock Leaves Striking Message About “Nepo Babies”

This is what Bretman Rock said to the nepo babies amid the issues.

Social media personality Bretman Rock shares his thoughts about the ongoing issues in the Philippines, particularly about the “nepo babies.”

With the rise of social media and content creation, some people find it easy to share the beautiful highlights of their lives. Some of them are famous and known as politicians’ children, and as the issues involving the anomalies in the flood control projects in the Philippines become massive, the children of those officials involved become the easy target of the public.

Claudine Co

Online, these children who flaunt wealth took the spotlight and got heavily criticized. Among those was Claudine Co, a content creator, who immediately stepped away from the online limelight when the issues erupted. Her father is Christopher Co, the co-founder of Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corp., while her uncle, Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co, is the CEO of the Sunwest Group of Companies.

Those kids flaunting luxury goods and extravagant lifestyles online are referred to as “nepo babies,” “scholars ng bayan,” and “Disney princesses.”

Recently, Filipino-American content creator Bretman Rock, loved by many and followed by millions, did not hold back and did not mince words as he called out the “nepo babies” of corrupt officials.

In a video shared on his Instagram Stories, he tackled an issue that has been widely discussed in the country. He voiced his frustration over these “nepo babies” and their lavish lifestyles, which are allegedly funded by taxpayers’ money, while the majority of citizens continue to live in poverty.

“There [are] bigger fishes to mother f***in fry, especially in the Philippines right now, like this mother f***in’ nepo babies using people’s money to buy and fund their lavish lifestyle and some of their questionable ugly fashion choices,” he remarked.

He then mentioned the comment of someone saying they should have invested in hiring a stylist before going extravagant on their styles, as he, too, would be mad to see that the money was spent on “ugly things.”

Bretman expressed, “I saw this video the other day… where she was like, ‘They really need to invest on a stylist before they invest on this mother f***in fashion stuff…’ I agree I will be mad too. If I was funding these mother f***in nepo babies’ life and they’re buying ugly things. I would be mad.”
