Here’s what Vice Ganda said to this old school photo of hers.
Fashion icon Heart Evangelista has discovered this photo of hers taken during her 7th grade, and this is what she said about it.
Many people feel heartbroken over childhood dreams that never came true. For some, unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances forced them to let go, while for others, it was a change of heart along the way.
At times, we even find ourselves apologizing to the child within us for not living up to those hopes—but this isn’t the case for everyone. Among those who found themselves living their childhood dream is Heart Evangelista. She is an actress, a global fashion icon, an influencer, a painter, and many other things she has worked hard for to achieve.
In an Instagram story, she found this photo of hers from her 7th grade. On that paper, her young dreams and the beliefs she was holding on to were reflected. Decades later, she has become the very person a young Heart has dreamed of.
A young Heart expressed her love for animals, and for many years now, Evangelista has been an advocate for animals, using her platform to give them the spotlight and her voice for the voiceless.
The young one loved painting, and Heart is now an artist. She painted personalized luxury bags for famous personalities. She even had an art collaboration with Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd.
The 7th grader Heart also loved acting, and at present, she is an actress and one of the most well-loved in the country.
She emphasized the saying “time is gold,” believing that every second should be dedicated to meaningful pursuits. True enough, Heart has always embodied this, constantly juggling multiple real-life roles and passions.
Reacting to this, Heart was reminded of how much she really loves what she does. Everything her young self wrote was the same things she still believes in until now. She added, Dream big, work hard, value time, try your hardest to stay kind, be grateful, and just be consistent.
