Frankie Pangilinan, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s Daughter, Joins Senate Spouses Foundation
KIKO PANGILINAN’S DAUGHTER – Frankie Pangilinan was appointed as the chairperson of the Committee on Youth of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc.
In the upper chamber, aside from electing the Senate President, the Senate Majority Leader, the Senate Minority Leader, and the chairpersons of the different committees, the spouses of the senators are also part of the Senate Spouses Foundation which also has specific committees.
In the 20th Congress, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan heads the Senate Committee on Agriculture. The returning Senator has always been vocal about his pursuit for the benefits of the farmers and the agriculture industry in the Philippines.
Sen. Pangilinan also recently replaced Sen. Robin Padilla as the chairperson of the Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes Committee. Actor-turned-Senator Robin Padilla is being considered to head the Senate Committee on Ethics but there is no finality yet with regards to it.
The 2025 Midterm Elections victory of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is a “come from behind win” as described by former Vice President and now Naga Mayor Leni Robredo. He and Robredo lost in the 2022 vice presidential and presidential races but formed a solid group of supporters.
Currently, not only Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is holding a chairperson position in the Senate. Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s daughter Frankie was also recently appointed as the Chairperson of the Committee on Youth of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc.
The good news about Frankie Pangilinan joining the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. was announced by her mother, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, through a social media post. Her and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s daughter has just graduated from college in New York, United States.
During the proclamation of the winning senators of the 2025 Midterm Elections, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan was not present as he and Sharon Cuneta traveled to the United States for the graduation of Frankie. Aside from her, the couple has three (3) other children — KC, Sharon’s daughter with Gabby Concepcion but has always been treated by the Senator like his own; their daughter Miel; and their adoptive and beloved son Miguel.
Frankie Pangilinan is vocal with regards to the her opinions on the different national issues, thus, she was even asked before if she has political plans. She stressed that she does it as a citizen of the country.
Opposite to the expectation of many people, returning senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan joined the majority bloc. Previously, Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros spoke on senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino joining the Senate Majority Bloc.
