Actress-comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto has this promise to her late husband, Trevor Magallanes, shared in a social media post.

The sudden death of Trevor Magallanes has shocked a lot of people, but no one was more surprised to hear the news than his estranged wife, actress-comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto. Magallanes passed away late last month.

“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope you give us time to mourn his lost especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!” Quinto wrote in her statement about her husband’s death without disclosing the reason behind his sudden passing.

In a previous article, the San Francisco Police Department shared a tribute to Trevor, who was a member of the SFPD’s 263rd Recruit Academy Class. He served from September 2018 until February 2023.

Recently, in a new post, Quinto paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband with a heartfelt promise. Based on her post, she expressed, “I promise to take care of our daughter , we can’t stop thinking of you . Mahal ka namin officer Magallanes.”

Rufa Mae and Trevor were married in 2016 in an intimate ceremony in Quezon City. In December 2024, Trevor publicly announced their separation and revealed that divorce proceedings were underway. They got married in the Philippines, where divorce is not legal. This meant that at the time of his passing, they remained legally married.

Rufa confirmed the news, and despite parting ways, they maintained mutual respect.

In May, she shared that she and Trevor remained married despite their procedure. The separation was not made legal. She asserted that he no longer wished to stay in the marriage, which led her to finally let go. They had tried to salvage the relationship, but their efforts proved unsuccessful.
