Kris Aquino Faces Critical Stage in Health Journey W/ Preventive Isolation
KRIS AQUINO – “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino is preparing for a challenging six months ahead as she focuses on recovery and undergoes critical medical procedures.
Kris Aquino has revealed that she will spend the next six months in isolation as she continues to battle several serious health issues.
In an emotional Instagram update, Kris explained the reason for her social media absence. “On purpose matagal akong hindi nag-upload. I have to admit if I told you what was happening, some of you may stop praying because my autoimmune diseases were increasing in number and my life threatening ailments needed me to make a brave choice. Trust me, it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me,” she wrote.

Kris Aquino shared that she has been residing for nearly two months at a private beach property owned by a kind-hearted family, who offered her a place to focus on recovery and strengthen her faith. Kris said she is set to undergo another lengthy infusion session involving potent immunosuppressants, which will completely suppress her immune system. “I will be in preventive isolation for six months. I’ll live in our compound in Tarlac; my Cojuangco cousins and I fondly call it Alto…” she added.
Opening up about her children, Kris revealed that her eldest son, Joshua, has been staying with a cousin after being emotionally affected by her deteriorating health. “Since the deaths of his Lola Cory, Lola P, and Tito Noy, seeing me frail, weak, often attached to my IV drip — kuya is traumatized… for now he’s living with my genuinely super loving cousin,” she said.
Her younger son, Bimby, now 18, has stepped in as her main caregiver. “He is heaven’s gift… my optimistic adult who reminds me I should ‘never surrender,’” Kris expressed.

Kris Aquino extended her gratitude to her medical teams from Makati Medical Center and St. Luke’s BGC, as well as her nurses and medical staff, for their unwavering care.
Back in July, Kris disclosed that she is living with 11 autoimmune diseases and could eventually require a wheelchair. Despite her challenges, she continues to seek prayers for strength and recovery in the difficult months ahead.
