Anne Curtis replied to this viewer of her series
Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis revealed one of the reasons why she decided to do the series It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
Anne has done various roles in movies and on TV. Aside from drama, she also ventured into comedy and action genres. Her latest acting project is the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Korean series that talks about sensitive issues, including mental health.
The series also featured Joshua Garcia as Anne’s leading man and Carlo Aquino, who played a character on the autism spectrum, and as the former’s older brother.

The Pinoy adaptation garnered mixed comments from viewers who had been expressing their thoughts on social media. Some netizens pointed out that the casting was not as they focused on the age gap between Anne Curtis and Joshua Garcia.
In a previous interview, the actress-host addressed the comments on the age gap that she and Joshua have. She encouraged the public to watch the series with the mindset that they are watching the lead characters, Mia and Patrick, and not as Anne and Joshua.
However, some commended the acting performances of the lead stars and continued showing support for the series.

One of the positive reactions that the series received just recently was from a netizen on X, formerly Twitter. The netizen shared that as someone who had undergone medication for anxiety last year, watching movies and TV series was avoided because the trauma kept coming. However, the netizen said that he/she could not stop watching It’s Okay To No Be Okay.
Anne retweeted this. In her caption, the actress shared that this was one of the reasons why she did this project. “For people who have may done through is going through can be seen. You got this. Just don’t go through it alone like Mia (her character in the series) was doing in the beginning,” the actress-host said.
