Enchong Dee explained his “Multo” post
Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee reacted to the virality of his “Multo” video with his former loveteam partner Erich Gonzales.
Enchong and Erich were known as the EnRich loveteam. Many fans loved their onscreen partnership. Unlike other Kapamilya loveteams, Enchong and Erich did not become a couple behind the camera.
However, they had a strong bond as friends. In a social media post in 2024, the actor recalled his friendship with Erich and which has been like that since 2009.
Erich is now living a private life with her husband, Mateo Lorenzo, who came from a wealthy clan. The actress also chose to have her social media hiatus when reports surfaced about her wedding. She would just once in a while post on her Instagram page.
Last April, netizens were surprised that Enchong Dee joined the Multo Trend of the band Cup of Joe. He used the song in a slideshow of his photos with Erich Gonzales.
This went viral, and netizens could not help but think that Enchong might have felt something towards Erich since she used the song that was about someone who got away.
In a recent statement posted by ABS-CBN, Enchong clarified that he has a social media team that handles his account, and he just sent his banked content.
He told his team that they had the right to arrange it. “It was posted to show support to Erich and her family,” Enchong stressed, adding that he did not expect that this would blow up.
The actor also said that his team did not tell him about this and stressed that it was intended to be an appreciation post. “Hindi ko nga alam yung kanta na pala na ‘yun is for the people na TOTGA natin,” he said.
