James Reid has this new milestone
Actor-singer James Reid signed a contract with a Korean management company, and here’s the reason behind this.
James reaped the success of his showbiz career during the prime of his loveteam with actress Nadine Lustre, known as JaDine, from the time he started his showbiz career through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2010.
He did several projects with Nadine, and he also had his solo acting projects. Eventually, he ventured into music. James decided to establish his own music label, Careless, but eventually this became a management company, and he started managing artists.
Based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, James Reid signed a contract with Korean-based management company Spring Company, which also handles the career of K-drama heartthrob Ji Chang-wook.
James shared that his main goal in signing the contract was to share a creative vision with the Korean company. It will serve as a start of ventures into cross-cultural collaborations.
“Spring Company felt like the right next step because they believe in bridging cultures, and that’s what I want to do too,” James shared.
Then, he shared that working with Ji Chang-wook was inspiring. “I’m looking forward to learning and showing the world what Filipino talent can do,” the Fil-Am artist said.
Spring Company also handles the career of Kim Min-seok, who starred in “Lovestruck in the City” and “Shark: The Storm,” and Lee Sung-woo, who is part of the second and third seasons of “Squid Game”.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, James Reid was asked about his former love team partner and ex-girlfriend Nadine Lustre. He said that they are civil, and he is happy with what is happening in her life now. The actor-singer also talked about his relationship with Issa Pressman, who made him realize that he aspires to be a father.
