Recently, Malacañang broke its silence on the increased trust and performance ratings of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a report on GMA News, the Palace welcomed the ratings and stressed its gladness that the Filipino people are probably seeing the works of the President now.

Despite the increase in the trust and performance ratings of the President, the Malacañang official clarified that the scores won’t affect him but it is welcomed by the Palace as the President’s work is allegedly recognized already.

Based on the report, Atty. Claire Castro said that it would be harder if the ratings fell but the person is working. Without dropping names, the Malacañang official claimed that what is heavier is someone getting increasing ratings even without working.

During his SONA, Pres. Bongbong Marcos was praised for using the Filipino language. However, one of the lawmakers in the Senate, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, reacted to the SONA remarks of Marcos Jr. over the flood control projects.
