Mariel Padilla showed support for PRRD
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla said that she is forever indebted to former President Rodrigo Duterte because of this.
Mariel has long been inactive in the entertainment industry. During her prime, she was one of the most in-demand hosts of the Kapamilya network. She was one of the pioneer hosts of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
Eventually, she became the co-host of veteran game show host Willie Revillame. In one of Willie’s shows, Mariel was able to meet her now husband Senator Robin Padilla.

When Mariel Padilla got pregnant, she opted to lie low in her showbiz career. She remained active on social media and is now focused on doing vlogs and online live selling.
When Robin Padilla decided to run for senator, Mariel showed full support. The actor-turned-politician is one of the most prominent allies or supporters of PRRD. He even stayed for a while in The Hague, where the former president is being detained by the International Criminal Court for his alleged crime against humanity, because of the allegations that extra-judicial killings happened during his war on drugs program.
Just recently, PRRD’s supporters gathered in The Hague, and Mariel Padilla spoke in front of her fellow supporters.
She said that she is happy to be with the people and hopes that they will not get tired of supporting PRRD. On stage, Mariel was with Sen. Robin Padilla and their two daughters. Robin’s sibling, BB Gandanghari, also joined them.

Mariel shared that when his husband first came home from The Hague, she and their kids already wanted to go back with him. “Gusto na po naming sumama agad dahil very personal po ang aking pasasalamat kay PRRD,” the former TV host said.
She also mentioned that among the Presidents of the Philippines, only PRRD gave Sen. Robin the absolute pardon. Mariel stressed that among the Presidents whom Robin supported in the past, it was just PRRD who did that for him.
“Kaya lagi kong sinasabi, habang buhay po kaming napakalaki ng utang na loob kay PRRD,” Mariel Padilla said. She added that the former President deserves the support coming from them and more.
The celebrity vlogger also encouraged the people not to leave PRRD, as he did not leave the Filipinos.
