Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista reacted to the statement of former actress Rica Peralejo.
To recall, Rica mentioned Heart in her social media post about the difference between people in the entertainment industry and those who are not in it. When it comes to physical appearance, Rica pointed out that showbiz personalities are required to look good and that they do not do chores that could make them look haggard, unlike what the common people do.
Rica cited Heart as an example because the latter is now in the fashion industry; it is part of her job to look good and present herself that way.
The former actress archived her first post and reworded what she said because she said that people misinterpreted it. In a video, she also clarified that she is not degrading the struggles of those in front of the camera, but it is just that celebrities and common people have two different realities.
In a recent Instagram Live, Heart Evangelista was asked about what Rica Peralejo said. The Kapuso star said that she looked up to Rica and that the latter did not mean anything bad, but it was just the words she said.
Heart also said that there are people who are being heavily judged, and there were those who appeared to be clean and spotless when, in fact, they were the ones stalking a certain person.
When it comes to Rica, Heart told her fans, “You don’t have to doubt her because she’s really the sweetest girl.” Heart understands that what Rica said may be misunderstood, but the latter has already gone out to clarify this. The Kapuso star added that Rica did not mean anything negative with what she posted.
