CCM Film Productions of Coco Martin has dismissed the rumors by issuing an official statement, which also stated the current situation of the actor. Accordingly, the veteran actor is alive and has been filming episodes of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
The actor is now 78 years old and is currently among the stars of the series, which is now in its second season. He is Gustavo Guerrero, part of the notorious Guerrero political clan of the story. He is the former Manila mayor and was also revealed to be the real father of Marites Dimaguiba (Cherry Pie Picache) and Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca).
The actor is healthy and is happy to be joining the cast of the said series. The company warned the followers to be mindful of fake videos and fake reports about Rivero. It stated, “Nakikiusap kami sa lahat na itigil ang pagkalat ng videos at misinformation sa social media. Maraming salamat po.”
In calling for the truth and respect, they appealed to stop sharing fake news online and asked the people to pause before sharing unverified details.
