PAGASA Says Tropical Storm Crising to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that Tropical Storm Crising is moving away from the country.
On Saturday (July 19, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Tropical Storm Crising will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA Weather Specialist Grace Castañeda Tropical Storm Crising brings rains as it moves away from the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It has maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 115 kph as it moves 15 kph in a west northwestward direction.

“Tropical Storm Crising will continue moving generally west-northwestward towards southern China and may exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Saturday morning or early afternoon,” Castañeda said.
Both Crising and the Southwest Monsoon will bring heavy rainfall over parts of Luzon and Visayas.
“So patuloy pa rin pong pag-iingat para sa ating mga kababayan. At ayon nga dito sa ating latest forecast track analysis ni Bagyong Kresing. Patuloy po itong kikilos, generally pa west-northwest ward, palayo na nga po dito sa anumang bahagi ng ating kalupaan,” Castañeda explained.

Habagat will bring strong to gale-force gusts over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Isabela, the rest of La Union, the rest of Benguet, Abra, Zamboanga del Norte, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands.
The tropical storm may strengthen into a severe tropical storm as it moves towards southern China.

The weather agency has advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, according to PAGASA.
