Three men were arrested, and three minors were rescued after being involved in a youth riot in Sampaloc, Manila.

The authorities arrested three adult men and three minors after being involved in a youth riot along Lacson Avenue in Sampaloc, Manila.

In the video, several youths can be seen throwing stones at each other in the middle of the street. Some were still in school uniforms, while others carried sticks, rocks, and even umbrellas to defend themselves.

The sudden riot caused traffic to temporarily stop, alarming nearby residents and passersby. Thanks to a quick tip from the video uploader, police were able to arrive and break up the group.

However, after more than an hour, the same two groups returned to the scene and continued their fight. Shattered glass bottles could be heard in another video as both sides exchanged blows.

According to Barangay 411 officials, the clash may have started earlier in the nearby G. Tuazon area. They said incidents like this are not new, as their streets are often used by rival youth groups as a meeting ground for fights.

Around 20 individuals were reportedly involved, but most of them were not residents of the barangay.

No injuries were reported, though some parked vehicles may have been damaged. One of the men involved was known by a neighboring barangay and reportedly has a history of robbery and snatching.
