3 Minor Teenagers Suffered Wounds During Riot in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan

Three minor teenagers suffered wounds during a riot outside school in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Nowadays, gang fights have been very common not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes commotion, disturbances and inconvenience to the surroundings.

The Philippine government is already taking necessary actions to prevent such incidents but gang riot is still happening behind the knowledge of the authorities. It is already causing fear among citizens.

In the video, it can be seen that a group of youngsters was beating a male student outside a school in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. After a few moments, one of the teenagers pulled out a knife and stabbed his enemies.

The 16-year-old boy stabbed three students during the intense commotion. The police authorities are currently searching for the suspect because of his crime. Two of the victims have been discharged from the hospital while the other one was confined due to his injuries.

According to Police Lieutenant Rosemarie Taguiam, the incident started due to a simple “Sagian”. The involved teenagers were about to practice softball when the incident happened.

“Itong ating biktima ay nasagi lang po noong suspect at doon na po yung umpisa ng kanilang pag-initan,” Taguiam said.

The local government unit, the Department of Education, and the Philippine National Police decide to regularly meet the parents and implement stricter measures outside the school premises.

“There are security guards, but medyo malayo doon sa insidente nandon sila sa may jeep yung police po natin meron nagpa-patrol outside, not inside. Kasi as much as possible po sana iniiwas din sana natin na makapasok sa school ang pulis, since that’s not allowed,” Tuguegarao City Mayor Maila Ting Que said.
