Marco Sison shared that he first met Vice Ganda because of ‘It’s Showtime’
Veteran singer Marco Sison revealed that Unkabogable Vice Ganda has this kind of “character.”
Vice is the main host of the Kapamilya noontime show. One of the most popular segments of the show is its singing competition, Tawag ng Tanghalan. Over the years, this segment has featured a lot of judges or hurados.
Marco is one of the current hurados of the televised singing competition. In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, the veteran singer shared that prior to being a TNT judge, he had not had the chance to meet Vice, but he had already heard the name of the comedian-host.
When Marco Sison became a hurado, he knew Vice Ganda deeper, and one thing he could say was, “Mabait pala. Tapos mahilig siyang tumulong.”
The OPM icon also said that Vice would give extra seconds to him when he is doing his job as a judge, like giving his reaction, comments, and advice to the contestant.
“Siguro, depende ‘yun sa kino-comment ko. Matulungin siya talaga without him knowing it. May ganoon siyang character,” Marco said about the Unkabogable Star. Marco also said that this is perhaps because Vice is also grateful for what is happening in his life.
The veteran singer also shared how he convinced Vice to be part of his concert. Marco said that it was on the spot, and after saying that, Vice immediately checked his schedule.
“Actually, may concert siya with Regine (Velasquez) pero nag-yes pa rin siya. Talagang sobrang helpful niya and ‘Showtime’ kapag may mga ipro-promote ako,” Marco Sison shared.
The OPM icon also said that everyone in It’s Showtime is like that and he thinks that this is probably because this is what they see in their leader, who is Vice Ganda.
