Social Weather Station Conducts Survey over pres. Bongbong Marcos Trust Rating Anew
BONGBONG MARCOS TRUST RATING – The trust scores of the President in the latest Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showed an increase by 10 percentage points.
Almost every month, there are opinion polling bodies that conduct survey to determine public trust on certain government officials — usually the president and the vice president. Recently, the Social Weather Station conducted its June survey to determine the public trust to Pres. Marcos.

Following the SWS survey that showed more Filipinos believe that the Senate is allegedly delaying the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, its recent survey showed an increase in Pres. Bongbong Marcos trust rating.
Based on a report on GMA News, the SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase showed a 10 percentage points increase on the trust rating of Marcos Jr. It climbed to 48% from 38% in May.

The survey was reportedly conducted among 1,200 Filipino adults across the nation from June 25 to 29. According to Stratbase, the respondents were asked to assess their level of trust in key government officials with the following ratings:
- very much
- somewhat much
- undecided if much or little
- somewhat little
- very little

Based on the report, the recent SWS survey on the Pres. Bongbong Marcos trust rating has a ±3% margin of error. It found 30% of the respondents had little trust to the Chief Executive while 21% are undecided.
Previously, opinion polling bodies recorded decreasing trust ratings of Marcos Jr. Malacañang previously spoke on the results saying that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is not affected by the results of the surveys as long as what he is doing is right.
Currently, the President is busy in the programs of the government. It is usually Malacañang press officer Claire Castro who speaks to the public most especially on political issues like the rift between Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and the President. Meanwhile, the Chief Executive often gives speeches at important events.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos even recently assured the Filipinos that the P20 per kilo rice “is here to stay”. It is his most popular campaign promise. Previously, when the agriculture department announced the availability of the affordable rice in Visayas, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte raised a question on why it is only available in the region and not in Luzon and Mindanao.
The P20 per kilo rice sale was temporarily halted then amid the election period but when it resumed, it was made available to more areas in Luzon aside from Visayas. Previously, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that she knows that the P20 per kilo rice is doable but she does not want to share her knowledge to Marcos Jr.
