Nadine Lustre excited to be working with Vice Ganda again for an MMFF movie.
Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre has this message for Vice Ganda as she expressed excitement over working with the superstar again.
“Beauty and The Bestie” was the last film that Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre have starred together. This film was an official entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 which also starred Coco Martin and James Reid.
It was produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions and Viva Films, and was among the highest-grossing Filipino movies that year. This was also Wenn V. Deramas’ last film before his death on February 29, 2016.
Recently, it has been confirmed that they are going to be working again on a film for the 51st MMFF. Vice and Nadine’s MMFF movie is called “Call Me Mother,” which will be directed Jun Robles Lana and produced by ABS-CBN Films, IdeaFirst Company, and Viva Films.
In an It’s Showtime episode, Nadine releyed a video message for Vice appreciating the superstar for the help she did to her and, at the same time, she expressed her excitement to work with her again.
She described her as “the Meme” and someone who always gives so much of herself to the one she loves and to the madlang people. Nadine quipped that she has known her as someone who has been hands on and compassionate.
The Urian Best Actress added, “I’m so, so excited na maka-trabaho ka uli after 10 years. I already know that this reunion is going to be something very, very special.”
