Class Suspensions for Wednesday (July 9, 2025) Due to Heavy Rains
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units declared class suspensions in some areas due to non-stop rain.
The continuous downpour started Tuesday night (July 8, 2025) and is expected to last through the day, prompting safety concerns for students and school personnel.
According to the latest advisory, moderate to heavy rains are still expected across parts of Luzon. A low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is also being monitored, though it’s not likely to develop into a storm.

On Wednesday (July 9, 2025), some LGUs have decided to suspend classes in various areas due to non-stop rains brought by thunderstorms and the southwest monsoon or habagat.
In Metro Manila, classes have been suspended in areas affected by flooding and poor weather conditions. Similar announcements were made in parts of Cavite, Batangas, and Laguna where heavy rains continue to cause inconvenience and possible hazards.

- Mendez-Nuñez – All levels, public and private (modular learning)
- Naic – All levels, public and private (modular learning)
- Tagaytay City – All levels, public and private
- Tanza – All levels, public and private (modular learning)
- Trece Martires City – All levels, public and private (modular learning)
Laguna:
- Biñan City – All levels, public and private
