Whistleblower Claims Gretchen Barretto Allegedly Agreed to Eradicate Cheating Sabungeros
GRETCHEN BARRETTO – The former actress is urged by a “whistleblower” to speak on the case of the missing sabungeros.
Many Filipinos were shocked when alias “Totoy” agreed to an interview and pinned down two (2) prominent personalities over the case of the missing cockfight enthusiasts. According to him, around 100 bodies of sabungeros who were severely hurt were thrown into the waters of Taal Lake.
Alias “Totoy” claimed that businessman Atong Ang and former actress Gretchen Barretto are allegedly involved in the missing sabungeros case. He claimed that the Filipino-Chinese businessman is allegedly the mastermind.
Atong Ang claimed that alias “Totoy” allegedly extorted P300 million from him. He denied his alleged involvement into the disappearance of the cockfight enthusiasts. He also stressed that he will file a case against his accuser.
It is no secret to the public that Atong Ang is the big man behind the e-sabong or the online cockfight game. He was previously romantically linked to Gretchen Barretto after they were spotted holding each other’s hands during a flight but he denied it. According to him, they are really close like real siblings.
Gretchen is also known as a close associate of Atong in his e-sabong business. However, the Department of Justice confirmed that she is now a suspect in the case of the missing sabungeros after the whistleblower named her.
Based on a report on GMA News, alias “Dondon” or Julie Patidongan claimed that Gretchen Barretto is allegedly one of those who agreed to dealing with the cheating cockfight enthusiasts. According to alias “Dondon”, they had a meeting with Atong Ang and the former actress was allegedly one of those who raised her hand.
“Isa siya sa pumayag na walain ‘yung mga nag-to-tyope. Kasi sabi nga ni Mr. Atong Ang, ‘pag hindi natin gawin ‘yan, babagsak ‘yung negosyo natin. At imposibleng tututol siya, eh katabi siya mismo lagi ni Mr. Atong Ang ‘pag nag-meeting,” the whistleblower claimed.
Atong and Gretchen were allegedly always together. According to the whistleblower, the former actress is allegedly one of the members of the so-called Alpha group. Patidongan also claimed that he attended a similar meeting held at the Manila Arena office.
The whistleblower called on Gretchen Barretto to speak on the issue of the missing sabungeros. Based on the report, he asked the former actress to help him and to have conscience over what happened to the cockfight enthusiasts.
“Para matapos na ito, madam, tutal, tulungan mo na ako sa kaso ko dito. Maawa ka naman, makunsensya ka naman sa mga nawalang sabungero,” alias “Dondon” said.
Recently, the camp of Gretchen Barretto spoke on the issue and denied her alleged involvement in the missing sabungeros case.
