Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte Visits Dad Rodrigo Inside ICC Detention Facility
PAOLO DUTERTE – The Davao Congressman claimed that his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, wants to tell his girlfriends to find a new boyfriend.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is detained for more than 100 days now under the custody of the ICC (International Criminal Court). The former Chief Executive is faced with an accusation of crimes against humanity over his administration’s war on drugs which is linked to deaths.
The confirmation of charges against former Pres. Duterte is set on September 23. His camp has filed a request for his interim release but it has yet to be granted by the foreign court. The Duterte family members take turn in visiting the former President inside the ICC detention facility.
Recently, Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte visited former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte inside the ICC detention facility. Based on a report on PhilStar, after his visit, in an interview in The Hague, the Davao Congressman claimed that his father has a message for his girlfriends.
Cong. Paolo Duterte said his father has 13 girlfriends in Davao based on his knowledge. According to former Pres. Duterte’s eldest son, his father wants to tell his girlfriends to find a new boyfriend with many credit cards.
“To all his girlfriends – I know there are 13 girlfriends in Davao – (former president Duterte said) look for another (boyfriend) with plenty of credit cards. That’s what he said,” the Davao Congressman said.
Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte also said that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte asked if Vice Pres. Sara Duterte visits Davao City and helps in fulfilling its needs. Based on the report, the Davao Representative confirmed to his father that the Vice President goes to Davao and faces the people. According to him, their father did not ask about the impeachment case of the Vice President.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is faced with an impeachment case but the Senate returned the Articles of Impeachment to the House of Representatives over questions about constitutionality. Previously, in her response to the summons sent by the Senate impeachment court, the Vice President sought for the dismissal of the case.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte immediately explained her “dismissal” request over the impeachment case against her.
