PAGASA Says 2 Weather Systems to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that two weather systems will bring rains over parts of the country.
On Saturday (June 28, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Two weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda reported that two weather systems will prevail across the country in the next 24 hours.

The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan.
“In the afternoon until evening or early morning, the chances of rain increase. We may possibly experience at times heavy rains,” Castañeda said.
Habagat will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region and the rest of Mindanao, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions to the remaining parts of the country.
“However, there are cloud clusters here in the east of Luzon and Visayas. We are monitoring these cloud clusters for the possibility that there will be circulation and if it will become an LPA in the coming days,” Castañeda added.
No tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas are being monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility, according to PAGASA.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions throughout the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
